Table Talk on Disability Matters
In 2015, Innovative LIFE Options Inc. embarked on a project to see how we could reach out and support families who experienced barriers in finding services for their son or daughter with a disability. We met with dozens of parents around the province of Manitoba, for what we lovingly called “Kitchen Table Talks”. Jump forward to 2022, where we continue the conversations about what matters most to people with disabilities, their families and support networks. We place a lens on the best of what is and explore the possibilities of what could be, while stimulating a different view on ability, diversity and inclusion.
